Don't Get Lost Kai!
our building has new owners and they have embarked on some MAJOR changes, the biggest being these little trees in big flower pots. with all the scaffolding and construction men around, hanging about outside my fourth floor (on ropes or just the fire escape) i should be excited about all the improvements. but you know what thought fills my mind?they better not try to raise my rent.

I dread that for you and sure hope they don't raise it. But when they do such renovations, they let the 'old' rent remain the same for the 'old' tenants then anyone who moves in is hit wit the new price
i so hope that you are right.. i have my fingers AND toes crossed!
